  • A tour perfect for Chinese visitors wanting to see Scotland at its most beautiful, with some great walking involved. Day 1 starts with a walk up Conic Hill, a moderate climb with great views over Loch Lomond and the surrounding mountains. You might even see your first Highland Cow – a true Scottish icon! On the way, your guide will teach you about Scotland’s history, culture and traditions and you may even get to taste a few Scottish specialties. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a boat ride across Loch Lomond to Luss, a typical Scottish village on the shore, where you can spend the afternoon at your leisure, soaking up the atmosphere.

On Day 2 you have the opportunity to conquer Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly mountain, over 900m high. If the weather is on our side, views from the top are breathtaking in all directions, giving you a real sense of the region’s beauty. Those wanting to take it a bit easier can opt for a shorter walk along the banks of Loch Lomond followed by a trip to a Scottish whisky distillery where you will learn how whisky is made, and sample some whisky for yourself!

Day 3 will begin with a short boat ride and morning walk around one of Loch Lomond’s islands – only accessible by boat. In this natural haven, you’ll take in some great views, get up close to unspoilt nature and walk through the mysterious remains of an ancient Scottish church where we’ll tell you all about Scotland’s clan history. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to watch a falconry show and enjoy afternoon tea in a Scottish country house, or visit the whisky distillery if you haven’t already done so. For those wanting to put on their walking boots and experience Scotland in its purest form, this tour is for you!

*Please note: the itinerary for this tour is subject to change, based on accommodation availability, your train times and tour start/end points. All transfers are by car unless otherwise stated.

  • These activities are fixed and form the foundation of your tour itinerary. We believe they are the best bits of each tour that nobody should miss out on!

Conic Hill3Scenic walk up Conic Hill

    (moderate, 4km, 2-3 hours)

A moderate climb to a hilltop that overlooks Loch Lomond. Get panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and learn how this very point divides Scotland into two.

    Luss2Trip to Luss

    (approx. 2.5 hours)

Hop on a boat across the water to Luss, a typical Scottish village on the shores of Loch Lomond, where you’ll have time to roam the quaint village streets and buy a souvenir or two.

    Inchailloch views

    Walking on Inchailloch Island

    (moderate, 3km, 1-3 hours)

This is one of Loch Lomond’s natural islands – only accessible by boat. For such a small island, Inchailloch is remarkably diverse and we’ll take a few different paths to show you as much of it as we can!

  • This is where you can get creative! Pick the activities that suit you and your group best. Please note, all group members must participate in the same activities and not all combinations are possible.

    Ben Lomond5Hiking Ben Lomond Mountain

    (hard, 6-7 hours, 12km)

The climb to the top of Ben Lomond mountain is one of Scotland’s most popular hill walks, with over 30,000 visitors each year. We’ve chosen this hike for its great summit views, not only of Loch Lomond but also of distant snowy peaks including the highest in Britain – Ben Nevis.

Sallochy1Walk along the banks of Loch Lomond

    (easy, 1-3 hours, 4.5km)

This is an easier walk offered as an alternative to the longer, more strenuous hikes on this tour. That said, the views of the lake from water level are still a thing of beauty!

FalconryFalconry experience and Afternoon Tea at a Scottish Country House

    (approx. 2 hours)

This is a great chance to get up close and personal with some of the rarest birds in Britain. During this unique falconry experience, you will be given the opportunity to hold 3 different birds of prey – a Kestrel, an Eagle and an Owl – and then fly another 2. Afterwards, we will sit down for a traditional afternoon tea at a nearby country house and share photos from the day’s events!

    GlengoyneTrip to Glengoyne Distillery

    (approx.2 hours)
