Our East London tour is available every Tuesday and Friday to anyone who wants to join and does not wish to have a private tour. Our public tours are tours which anyone can sign up to, and will be shared with a maximum of 15 people per guide.
This tour starts every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30am from Liverpool Street Station. Places must be booked and confirmed in advance.
This East London tour is perfect for Chinese visitors wanting to see a trendy, up-and-coming part of the city, as well as an area steeped in history with many stories to tell. From Brick Lane to Liverpool Street you will see some of London’s best graffiti, find out where to buy the best curry in town and walk the streets and narrow lanes where Britain’s most notorious criminal, Jack the Ripper, stalked his prey! We’ll even treat you to a local East London speciality from one of Shoreditch’s most famous stores.
We’ll show you some of London’s grandest Georgian architecture and teach you about the different kinds of people, from across the globe, who have settled here over the years. You’ll get a feel for just how multicultural London is and why people from all religions and all walks of life choose to call it home. We’ll also take you through some typical London markets – both old and new – and if you spot something you like, we can help you negotiate a good price.
This walking tour is ideal for those wanting to explore the colourful alleyways and market streets beneath the skyscrapers of London’s ultra-modern Square Mile, and it’s an opportunity to really get to grips with the dark history and colourful culture of this captivating city.
