  • Our Edinburgh tour is available every Saturday and Sunday to anyone who wants to join and does not wish to have a private tour. Our public tours are tours which anyone can sign up to, and will be shared with a maximum of 15 people per guide.

    This tour starts every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 from Edinburgh Waverley train station. Places must be booked and confirmed in advance. This tour requires a minimum of 5 people or the financial equivalent thereof in order to run.

    Join us on an Edinburgh walking tour with a native British Mandarin-speaking guide! Explore Scotland’s historic capital on this half day tour of Edinburgh.

    On this tour you will learn about the history of this historic city, see the inspiration for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books and where the novels were first written. You’ll enjoy a drink in a traditional British pub, try some Scottish whisky and a modern-day Scottish snack. You will also hear about Edinburgh’s famous ghosts, see where Edinburgh’s famous historical residents are buried and explore some of the city’s hidden backstreets.

    Finally, you will hear about Edinburgh Castle and, should you wish, you will have time to explore it at your leisure following the tour. All of this and more, in the company of a native British Mandarin-speaking guide!

    We offer 100% refunds if a reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the scheduled tour. We cannot offer refunds for any reason once within 72 hours of the scheduled tour.

     This is a walking tour so we recommend you wear a pair of comfortable shoes you are happy walking in for a prolonged period of time.

     All tours operate rain or shine, and are only cancelled at the discretion of our guides. For tours that operate in wet weather, we do recommend guests come dressed appropriately with a rain coat, umbrella and waterproof shoes.

  • Although transport is not included in our half-day city walking tours, all tour locations can be easily accessed from London or other nearby cities by train or private vehicle.
