BILL

Bill is our Liverpool guide, and moved to Guangzhou in early 2009 to learn Mandarin. He spent two years there teaching English, having a lot of fun and studying Mandarin before returning home to Liverpool. However, he missed China so much that he returned in 2011 and spent one year studying further Mandarin at Xi’an Jiaotong University. He loved the whole experience, and has it as an aim in life to continue speaking Chinese, studying Chinese culture and history, and most importantly – eating Chinese food! (Sichuan food is his favourite.) He has fame in his blood, as his family own the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, the club where the Beatles started out!
