Howard

Howard is originally from Manchester in the north of England and studied at Newcastle University. Upon graduation, he decided to move to China in order to learn the language and understand the Chinese mindset. He was a teacher in various Chinese cities for almost twenty years, teaching Mathematics and English as a foreign language.

As a keen enthusiast of history and travel, Howard has explored many different parts of China, from the borders with Russia and North Korea to valleys of Yunnan in the south. He is also a big fan of the performing arts and has appeared on both the screen and stage in China, including taking on Chinese speaking parts.

As a child, some of Howard’s most treasured memories were being taken around London by his father and he loves nothing other than showing people around the sites that make London what it is.
