NICK
Nick has spent the last six years to-ing and fro-ing from Hangzhou in China’s Zhejiang province, each trip devising a new pretext for smuggling sack-loads of Chinese tea back to his hometown of London. On top of his love of tea Nick has a soft spot for beer, which he sold and enjoyed with great fervour during his latest stint in China working for a premium beer importer.
In 2013, Nick’s Geography undergraduate course took him to China where he conducted research for his dissertation and made many lifelong friends. He later graduated with first class honours and a school prize for outstanding achievement.
As well as taking language training classes at Zhejiang University, Nick learned Chinese by officiating weddings, correcting police reports and chatting with any Chinese person who would humour him. In his spare time Nick enjoys walking and tending his house plants.
